Q. What is a 'smart rebate'? A 'smart rebate' is deposited into an account you select for a specialized purpose. We do not mail the rebates; we make available the Ebay company called PayPal for you to use to transfer your SmartRebates into your account. When your SmartRebates are ready, you will be informed by email on how to retrieve them--via the email address you enter on the registration form. Your SmartRebate is our contribution to your prosperity and community.
Q. How does one accrue SmartRebates? Register for one of SmartRebates' programs, log-in with your ID and password, and shop in our Shopping Club. After you make a purchase, we will keep a record of it in your My Account. When the status of your SmartRebate is listed as 'paid', you may transfer it to your bank account via PayPal. .
Q Who qualifies to accrue SmartRebates? Any individual who is at least 18 years old, unless your country, state or province requires you to be older.
Q. SmartRebates requires members to have their cookies turned on. Does that mean that you are going to track our shopping habits? Absolutely not. We are not interested in your shopping habits and we will never sell your information to anyone. We require your cookies to be turned on so we can track your rebates into your online account here at SmartRebates. We do not use your cookies for any other purpose.
Q.What is the privacy policy of SmartRebates? We will not give out any email addresses from our database to anyone. And, from our files with your email questions, statements or inquiries , we will not give out any email addresses to anyone.
Q. I do not see my favorite merchant in the shopping club. Why is this? We are adding new merchants every week, so please check back with us. Meanwhile, why not try some of the merchants we have in our shopping club. They are all really amazing in their product offerings and service, and all have very secure transaction or check out centers.
Q. Can a SmartRebates member join more than one SmartRebate program? Yes, but one must register and enter a different unique, Member ID for each program. Then, when you make a qualifying purchase after logging-in, we will track the relevant SmartRebate into your account attached to the ID which you used for that particular log-in session. At this time, we would ask you NOT to log-in twice, using two different Member IDs, within the same 24 hour period. All other relevant terms apply.
Q. I just want the SmartRebate money sent to me. Mail it to me or put it in my bank! Can you (SmartRebates) do that? Yes. We call them Cashbates. We don't mail your SmartRebates to you, but you can register now and we will track 'these cash rebates' into your bank account after you make a qualifying purchase. And, by using PayPal, we do that without even know the details of your bank account. Click on the red Cashbates link above to find out more or join.
Q. When do I recieve my money--my Cashbate? In most cases, your Cashbate will show up in your My Account here at SmartRebates within 60 days after your purchase, and soon after, your money will show up in your bank account (via PayPal. You must register at PayPal.com first.)

Q. I would like to get started shopping and saving up SmartRebates, either for money in my bank, or for my son's Little League fundraiser. Do I have to choose now? No. Go ahead and register and on the first page of the Registration, click 'Smartbates' in the drop down menu and then follow the rest of the registration directions. At any time afterwards, you click Update Registration to make your choice. Your SmartRebates will also show in your MyAccount as 'smartbates' until you choose either Cashbates or Carebates.
